Retraction Note: Correlation between Neutrophil Gelatinase Associated with Lipocaline and Megalin in Type 2 Diabetic patients

Abstract

This retracts "Correlation between Neutrophil Gelatinase Associated with Lipocaline and Megalin in Type 2 Diabetic patients." Adv. Life Sci. 2023 Oct;10S(1):30–34. doi: 10.62940/als.v10i0.1990.

Following the publication of this article, an internal audit — conducted in response to quality concerns raised by Web of Science — identified concerns regarding the adequacy of the peer review process. A subsequent post-publication review by a member of the editorial board revealed significant limitations relating to the rationale of the methodology, p-value formatting, and language usage. The authors were requested to make the necessary post-publication corrections; however, these were not completed to the satisfaction of the editorial board. The Editor-in-Chief has therefore retracted this article on 24 September 2025 on account of the scientific deficiencies identified through the internal audit and post-publication review process. The authors do not agree to this retraction.
