Following a post-publication editorial quality review, the Editorial Office identified citation mismatches in the above article. The authors have reviewed the affected citations and confirmed the following corrections. These corrections involve citation selection only and do not affect the experimental dataset, numerical results, tables, figures, statistical analyses, or the principal conclusions of the study.

Reference corrections

  • Ref. [50] The original citation (Hussain et al., 2019) was not an appropriate methodological reference for the catalase assay. It has been replaced with a standard methodological reference for the catalase test (Taylor and Achanzar, 1972). The related methodological description has also been clarified as follows:

Catalase activity was determined using the slide method. A small amount of fresh bacterial culture was transferred onto a clean glass slide using a sterile inoculating loop, and a drop of 3% (v/v) H?O? was added. Immediate formation of oxygen bubbles was considered a positive catalase reaction, whereas the absence of bubble formation was considered a negative reaction [50].

  • Ref. [86] The original citation (Ali et al., 2018) did not appropriately support the statement regarding the effects of Pseudomonas putida on canola plants. It has been replaced with a study directly addressing the interaction between Pseudomonas putida and canola (Glick et al., 1997). The relevant statement has been revised as follows:

Furthermore, our findings are consistent with previous studies investigating the beneficial effects of Pseudomonas putida inoculation on the growth and physiological performance of canola plants [86].
