Abstract

This Correction refers to: Hisham Faiz Jaha, Yasir Anwar, Saleh M. Al-Maaqar, Tahseen Kamal, Sher Bahadar Khan. (2024). Iron-Based Nanoparticles Synthesis, Characterization, and Antimicrobial Effectiveness. Advancements in Life Sciences, 11(2), 525532. https://doi.org/10.62940/als.v11i2.3096

Following an internal post-publication editorial quality review, the Editorial Office identified two reference mismatches in the above article. The authors subsequently provided replacement references that more appropriately support the relevant discussion. The associated wording in the Introduction was also revised for clarity and consistency with the corrected references.

Reference corrections

  • Ref. [15] The previous reference cited in support of the antimicrobial activity of nanoparticle materials has been replaced with Feyadh and Mohammed (2022), which more appropriately supports the discussion concerning the antimicrobial activity of silver and silver iodide nanoparticles.
  • Ref. [16] The previous reference has been replaced with Vasiliev et al. (2023), which more appropriately supports the discussion concerning the synergistic antibacterial effects of copper and silver nanoparticles and their mechanisms of action.

Corrected references

These corrections are limited to the cited references and the associated wording in the Introduction. They do not affect the experimental dataset, numerical results, tables, figures, statistical outcomes, or the principal conclusions of the study.
