Following the publication of this article, an internal audit — conducted in response to quality concerns raised by Web of Science — identified that an inappropriate article type category had been assigned to the originally published version. The article category has since been corrected from Full Length Research Article to Short Communication, and the Editorial Expression of Concern issued on 20 May 2025 has accordingly been withdrawn. The earlier published copy of this article is available on request at als.editor@als-journal.com.
