Following an internal audit conducted after post-publication quality concerns were raised, the Editorial Office identified reference mismatches in the above article. • Ref. [4] The original citation was incorrectly attributed and did not correspond to the statement regarding the short circular ssDNA genome size of geminiviruses. The citation has been corrected and replaced with the appropriate reference (Brown et al., 2012), below.
• Ref. [25] The citation placement has been corrected. The reference is now cited directly after the term S-DIVA to clarify that it supports the use of the S-DIVA biogeographic analysis software/tool rather than the biological subject matter discussed in the reference.
